XM Radio Service Special - One Year For $77!!!

Actually they still bill that way occasionally.  Prior to the price increase last year I re-upped the scbscription for another 4 years and they sent me a bill even though I had my CC on file.

I just re-upped my XM today for the $77 a year, one time customer retension price. Just call the 1-800-998-7900 and ask for it.

I just got the deal too.  I signed up last week for $144 but
I had not paid yet.  They changed my account to $77.
It pays to read the forums.    Thanks!!!!!

my new vehicle will have XM for three months.? I was hoping to not get sucked in but I'm sure I'll like it.? If I can get another year for $77 then they'll probably have me.

I just got my year renewal for $77. THANKS  :yourock:

They did give me a different number to call; 800-892-5400

I actually called 6 days before my current subscription was up and the way they work I lost those 6 days. BUT, when I asked if they could change the date, they came back and credited me for one whole month ($6.41). So I'm only paying $70.59 for the year. NOW THAT ROCKS !!!

Call up xm and tell them you wanna cancel and they will ask you why...tell them sirius and they will ask you what your willing to pay....buddy got it for 4 dollars a month.......Goodbye XM

I got Mine For $77 as well.  The rep on the phone called it the winback special. Thanks for the tip!!!

I just renewed the burban for $77 and got another radio renewed for 14.97 every three months

I'm trying to find the best renewal deal for a non-GM car...anyone know a source for info?

yeah, I won't die without it.  Not that great IMO.  But for cheap I'll renew for a year.

xm built in? Have you looked at Sirius's offerings?  All the same price, but if you find programming you like then at least sat radio is somewhat interesting.

just got off the phone with xm @ 1-800-892-5400.

my subscription expired last friday.....

told the rep. I was given this number as part of the customer retention program and was told to ask about the "winback" program....

brief pause, "no problem".

they now take credit cards over the phone.

as much time as I spend in my truck, $6.42 a month for satellite radio is a steal.? (hate commercials, love progressive/alternative/college radio).

plus xmradio over internet and home stereo (directTV) for free.
no brainer.

Thanks Chief for turning us on to this!? :B:

Got my renewel for $77 today. Took some work, but I got it.  I talked
to the Customer Service, Customer Service Manager and then the Retention group before I got the deal.

Be persistent......

Hmm

I will have to try this on both my '05 and my '06.  The 3 months free expired on my '06 on October 3rd and I haven't renewed yet since I have been out of town.  My '05 is not on a subsription but on a month to month pay.  I wonder if I can get the $77 rate each on both of them if I renew the '06 now??  I will have to try this tonite.

Keep me posted!

I wasn't a renewal, but I called and asked for a low 1-year rate after my 3-month freebie expired.  I tried twice.  No dice.

They said there was no promotion available for me.  Whatever.  They can call me when they are ready I guess.

They told me the SAME exact thing. I told them, if I don't get a better deal (considering they are losing NASCAR coverage at the end of this year), I was not going to continue. I got transferred around a bit, but they ended up giving me the $77 rate.  I would suggest you call and ask to talk to the retention group.

well, maybe if I find myself bored sometime I'll try to call back once more.  I hate begging for something though.  I would have thought twice would have been enough for them to come off of the full price  (n)
