vehicle mounted gun holsters

So heres a question for someone with a vault or someone that knows the answer feel free to chime in. I'm looking at vaults and noticed that a Avalanche Vault is not the same as a Tahoe Vault. Why is this? Our consoles are different then the tahoe consoles?

I keep a cheap Rossi .357 mag with some very hot rounds in my truck locked up at all times. I keep it in the vault in an Uncle Mikes holster. When I drive, I pull it out and tuck it into passenger seat gap:

I keep the vault open when I am in the vehicle so I can quickly put it up when needed (traffic stop). This way it is easily accessible and not visible to those peeking in when I am not in the truck. .357 is a crude beast that can take down with 1 shot, but isn't real fun to shot like my other gun...

I also have a Glock 19 with a Crimson Trace I like to have for snakes when fishin' and general home defense. With the Bullydog extra mag holster - it wont fit easily as it is too big:

But it will fit in the uncle mikes:

Here is a victim I hit under a rock about 7 yards away. Red dot on target and squeeze...

Had the kids put down the video games and poke it with a stick as all kids should. For my CCW - my RCP .380 (with the crimson trace) can stay in my shorts pocket all the time..
I hope you weren't aiming at the snakes head.  ;D

I am a disabled police officer.  I will tell you,  you are MUCH better having the weapon on you,  find a comfortable carry holster/weapon combo to achieve this...

The main advantage of a CCW is that it is concealed.

I just reset the DIC from remote unlock all doors on one press to unlock driver's door only on one press; all on two presses. Had some clown that just panhandled 5 bucks from me on a sob story about running out of gas jump in from the passenger side when I got in demanding that I drive him to MD or he would take the Avy there himself. Told him to lower the passenger window because I didn't want to break it if the slug from the LCP I quickly drew from my shirt pocket blew out the back of his skull....looking at it from the wrong a .380 has the same bore size as a 9mm and the beam from the CT laser is quite a motivator......no need for a large house gun in a vehicle, at point blank a .380 is as good as a bazooka. He was happy to walk and not slam the door on his way out.

Just last week i was sitting at a red light about 11pm , and this shirtless guy stands infront of my AV and starts screaming about something i couldnt understand. then walks over to the driver side door and starts just beating the crap out of the windows. when he went to reach for something in a bag i felt i had to draw. I carry my glock 23 in the 4 o'clock in a black hawk holster. He got the point and then walked away.

Still dont have a truck mount , i can still draw with it on me, its just not the fastest.

I find if I am going to be doing a lot of driving my OWB kydex holster is the way to go. Wearing it at a 3.30pm gives great comfort and good access within the vehicle....

Hey I have recently got a compound bow and was wondering if anyone has mounted one in there AVYS
A pse vision with the skull works paint job

For the bow, why not get a piece of plywood and some clamps or bow holders and put the bow where the back window sits in the midgate behind the rear seat? It would be out of the way and you could remove whole mount system with bow if need be? Use pivoting locks to hold plywood in place.

I'm just curious what type of gun that is? Because the holster is way too small for a grip of that size, that or it is a really odd gun

I did see the Walther logo once I blew up the pic, but still say the grip still looks disproportionately big compared to the slide.
