It's member GriffGriffin's box.  It is a custom job by a shop in Richmond, VA that has since closed.

:welcome: to the club Ashtray00!

vertabatt is correct, that midgate is Griffgriffen's who had it custom built.  They builders have since opened another shop but are very hard to contact.

If your asking about my headunit, its a Pioneer Avic Z2.

I'm working on getting Griffgriffens box duplicated at a reasonable price.  Stay tuned........

Thanks vertabatt!? That thread shows all my pictures documenting the experience and has a link to the blueprints (pdf) for the boxes.?

Hey Stephen...? ?I have been through several posts, downloaded your pdf and all the pictures I could find.? If I need to, do you mind if I message or email you regarding those boxes?? I'm going to take them to the local shop and see what they come up with.?

Some awesome looking systems here. For those of you with amps/subs/etc in the midgate, do you have to disconnect things in order to put it down?  How much is a custom midgate type setup going to run?  I'm not an audiophile so I don't need an amazing system but I'm curious what something like that costs.
