New Tire Replacement Survey

I have had my BFG KO for 6 years and almost 90k miles. I need to replace them now but for a mud/ snow/ highway tire you can't beat them. I Have driven in blizzards over Donner pass. Every one else had chains. I Used Auto and cruised through at 50 mph. I passed many 4x4,s with street tires that had no traction.
I Can't say enough about these tires.

Back in the day, when my 4x4s saw a lot of serious off-road duty, Goodrich T/A was the only tire I'd even consider, despite their street performance drawbacks. These days it's nothing but Michelin LTX.

It depends on where you live. I Lived in Idaho for 20 years so all my trucks ran mud and snow tires. All my cars had studded snows and a separate set of rims with street tires. Now that I live in California I don't off road or deal with 1/10 of the snow. But since I do travel to Idaho I am going with Blizztec tires. If you live someplace that does not get snow I would recommend the Michalin tires. Ride quality is awesome. The roll resistance is unbeatable meaning better gas mileage.

Just my thoughts.
