Hey everyone new to the forum
2002 avy z71
4:10 gears
33" dick cepeck mud country's
OBX longtube headers
Straight piped to flowmaster super 40
Black painted plastics
Blacked out grille
Camo front emblem
5% windows
2 12" type r's

Live in northern ontario canada just wondering
If anyone's ran tsl thorn birds on there avy

Not on my AV, but I have on my old Cherokee. They were loud as $hi! and as they wore down they rode like crap. But I was younger then and they looked cool and threw mud. That was all that mattered to me at the time.

MPG will suffer.

Post up some pics of your truck, maybe a video of that exhaust too.

X2. Had them on a purpose built 4x4 and they threw the mud and I was never stuck unless I dug down too far. But they were noisy and rough riding. I would never ever want to use them on dry pavement. Unless you got some loose teeth you want to rattle out instead of seeing the dentist.

Ran 36" thornbirds on my Hummer H3, very loud and aggressive - great on the muddy trails. But I then changed them to 37" BFG's MT KM2's, and I'm still running KM2's with my AV.

I think it would look sick on a lifted Avalanche - I say go for it!  (y)

I'm at stock height right now just keys turned up
And clearing 33 mud country's was thinking
Of eventually do a 3 inch lift and run 35's
But having a hard time picking what tires I want to run
And I'm a new member can't post pictures yet

I got nitto mud grapplers and there loud. But they do pretty good in mud and on the trails. I love them.look aggresive to

How are the grapplers? Wear down fast? And how do you like them in the mud

I've been running the Goodyear MT/R's, they look aggressive, are great on/offroad and are not noisy on the highway. As far as wear I've been getting about 45,000 miles out of each set, give or take a mile or two..

Very Happy with them...

hmmm...not sure if 3" will clear 35's? I dunno bro, I have a 6" and a 2.5 leveling kit and although I clear all my cladding (due to trimming) I am still rubbing metal...but that's just for now. I'm definitely taking my cut off wheel to it real soon ;)

I love them. Bit noisy but i like it.also look mean as heck on the avy. Iv only put bout 20k on them and still have enough to go another 20k. But i rotate them every oil change. They do great in the mud. Havent been stuck yet. Do pretty decent in what snow we get in va. Which aint much.

You have to have a certain number of post to post pics. Make a photobucket put pic on there and copy and paste img link on here is the easiest way

You may not have enough post.go post in the new memver welcom thread and get there in no time. Idk how many it is

Go to your picture in Photobucket.

Hover over the picture and click on the little gear icon in the upper right of the picture.

Copy the IMG link provided.

Paste that in your post in this forum.

You can do that from forum post #1.

You see this icon right above:

Click it.

Then you'll see something like this
Code:
[IMG][/IMG]
appear in the post box.

Go to your photobucket page and pick the image you want to display then right click the image and choose "Copy Image Location".

Now paste or ctrl+v between the image code, then you'll get this:

No problem!
Myself i would get the grapplers or some type other good mud terrian before the swampers unless you do some intense offroading. Any tire you get keep up with the tire rotate to get max life out of the cause they aint cheap
