How to Reset Hypertech PP?

I searched the forums, but couldn't find the info. ?I traded my '04 Avalanche in to the dealer this summer, but forgot to return it to the stock tune! The truck is long gone; anybody know how to reset a Hypertech programmer so I can sell it (cheap!) to a forum member?  (y)
 
you would have to return it to hypertech, but I'm not sure if they can do it...  best to call them
 
The only way is to send it back to HT.  They can reflash it.

The person who got your truck is kinda screwed.
 
Yeah, I asked their techsupport, and got this reply "Hypertech doesn't typically reset VIN locked programmers".

Anybody else do it before? Did you have to pay anything?

Guess since Hypertech isn't offering support AGAIN, I'll help out on what needs to be done.  PM me if we have that on here...
 
I'm looking into buying one of these. Let me know if you get it worked out......um by the way. you didn't sell that truck in Pa did you? that's where my '04 came from.
