Fastest Avalanche list (track times)

The converter is on the shelf allready.It's been a year that I'm looking at it.I even have 4.10's and 4.56's on the shelf too.
Would like to built the tranny first before I install the tranny. The stock tranny just don't want to die..... lol....

My stock tranny made it to 75k with the last 25k of that supercharged and abused.  I broke a sunshell about a month ago.  I now have a fresh built to the hilt 4L65.

Don't have a realistic time yet because I'm still waiting for wheels for my slicks and I was afraid to blow up even more parts by running in 4WD.  Felt like I was driving on ice with the 305 Nitto street tires. Will find out what it can really do next spring when the track re-opens and the engine has been rebuilt.

For now, spinning all the way and my first ever drive down the track:
2.60 60 ft
8.62 1/8
12.85 1/4 @ 106 mph

First run was the best because they let me start in the groove.   It just goes downhill fast from there.

Too bad I didn't keep the pedal down to the finish line on that 1st run.  I chickened out not being familiar with the shutdown area yet.  Could have done a little better.  Will be required to have a cage if I knock off another 1.5 sec.

Fast av's here, my best was a 13.2 @ 103 with 100 shot, cam, longtubes, and riding on 24's.

Before the year ended i had to see the  new numbers the avalanche is making with the tune. Managed the best of 15.6 out of three passes. First 15.7 on D with tow haul on. Then a 15.8 manual shifting, i messed up my shifts. Then the 15.6 on D with a Spectre cold air intake. I personaly think it has a bit more in her jus need more time. Better times coming soon.

If you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate it.  I do still get the emails but I have since bought an insurance agency.  I get almost no time for social media any longer.  Being the boss isn't all that's it's cracked up to be.

Thanks Loggie.  When I bought my Silvy in '11 I wanted another AV.  Even after I bought it, I had the thought that I might trade it for a new AV in a few years when my finances and business were more stable but I don't guess that will happen now.

Actually, mine was with the Twin TVS 1900 setup.  20 PSI.  I also had a 15+ second run at 115 MPH that day which doesn't seem to make sense unless you know that I had to keep letting off the throttle because I was going sideways.  We'll see how I do with the slicks this summer.
