Thanks all !!

C'mon Colorado, I'm sure we have some more trail pictures to share!

Of course I have trail pictures to share!? These are from my camping trip a few weeks ago on the west side of Kenosha Pass.? I wish that my friends who also took pics who share them with me because some of the best Av action shots are yet to be seen.

This is definitely not me in the driver's seat :).

The Av had an easy time of it crossing this 2-2.5 foot deep water crossing but I'm sure glad it wasn't any deeper!

Are there any off-roading GTG's planned for this summer?? I really do miss off-roading with the Colorado Av club!?

I already posted this video in the new member intro forum but this does seem to be the far more appropriate thread so here ya go....

The trip that - after filming came to a screeching halt - I totalled my 2006 Av on this trip

And a photo to give tribute to a truck that got me and my girls home before the frame fell off LOL...

I can only hope the 2007 is as faithful as the 2006 was

Nice Video, what happened to the AV?

Good Pics MeanGreen!!

Thanks for the compliment Chris!

I got a little too tippy on Camby Mt at around 13,000 ft... It resulted in a broken frame and placed dents and scratches on every single panel of the truck, busted the exhaust, the front bumper, fog lamps, broke two rims, and flattened four tires....  She didn't have a scratch on her before that trip and now she's in the salvage yard....

Needless to say.... I bought a jeep to play the sidekick for my new Av and I will play a little differently now with the Av lol  This one will stay on 'easy' trails, be the primary vehicle for around town, and work as tow truck for the jeep...

Though I admit I was 100% at-fault, and my problem was with the ground, I find it somewhat funny that my insurance company now has me tagged officially with  "At Fault Collision w/ the Ground" on my record... I swear it jumped out right in front of me!!!

 LOL, I wonder how they came up with that one!  Great video, sorry about the AV.

We're going to do another hike this weekend, anyone have some suggestions?

Just ran across this thread. Started into hard core off-road in 1975. What a great hobby for so many years. Then pretty much OBEd by life for the last ten years. Recently been debating whether to buy an LTZ AV or a Z71 to replace my Y2K Silverado. No question now; the Z71 with more off-roading mods. Thanks for the wake up call!

I'll have to get the name of the hike.  It wasn't much off roading versus a good hike.  If you take the I70 exit and pass Breck, it's the next exit after Breck on the right.  There is a camp site sign there...
