of the states you have visited in your Avalanche! All of our states were going to GTG's except those added below. I count 16 18 states, if that pass was not closed at Yosemite National Park  in mid September, we would have added 2 more states on the return trip! Instead we had to backtrack and take the same route home from California! Were your visits to other states for business or for pleasure" (GTG's)!

You can make a map HERE. Post up the picture of the map, it is a good visual!


For those out of the USA I think you can generate other maps, look around on that site!

So if you can beat 16 18 states post the picture, I may need more proof..........   , post a picture of your map even if you can't beat the 16 states, we want to see where you have been!

EDIT: I added two states that I forgot about! I took my son out to Philly to pick up a car that he bought on eBay so I added Pennsylvania. We made a trip to Atlanta to pick the rims and tires that I bought for the Avalanche so I added Georgia. We are up to 18 states and still thinking...........

Sorry buth but I got 2 more than you.

Most of them where GTGs, some I visited for business, family vacations and a couple were overnight stays on my way to a GTG or business trip, but I was there with my AV.

I have traveled thru Missouri and Arkansas a few times on my way to texas but did not add them since I have never spent more than a few hours on the road there.

My map of states I've driven in is more interesting, obviously I flew to CA & NV but did rent-a-car.
I do plan to got to Southern Nights GTG in Alabama so my AV will see a few more states this year.

Here's my map...but only FL,GA,NC,SC were in the Av...the rest were road trips as a kid...my Dad loved to drive! Looks like I gotta get uo to the New England states, eh?

I have only been to 3, but have not had him more than 7 mos.  I would like to add though that when I got him he had 200 some miles on him, and in the first week of ownership I took him to TX and put over 2000.  Perfect way to welcome him to his new owner!!

I think this first one covers all the states that the AV has been too.  I was at a GTG in CA, but didn't have the truck so guess that doesn't count.  

Second one is all the states that my wife and I have visited on various road trips before the AV became part of the family.

Updated December 2011: AV has been to Delaware now making 40 out of 50 states; and we (but not the AV) have been to Alaska to complete a visit to all 50 states.

1 1/2 Years, 30k miles, and plenty of road trips while stationed in NC.  Since Mn is home I have come up with many sightseeing ways to get home.  It kind of makes explains where all my money went though!!

22 states ... wow ...thankfully the East Coast is full of the small ones.

You can DL the map and then UL it. Took me about 5 tries last night. VMer needs to update his also. He completed his this year with his Alaska trip.

Updated.  We've been to all 50.  Added Delaware for the AV making 40 out of the 50 states that we've been to with our AVs.

Here ya go with that map thing. Go to the site and check all your boxes and click generate map. Copy just the states letters and put them in where mine are here in this code.

I'm not sure what is happening for you all, but I made the map, and when it got to the part where I could see it I simply right clicked, copied the image URL and inserted the map as a picture. I didn't do anything but tell it what states I've been to and generated the map.        

I figure that as long as the site is up the pic will stay on the thread.

Bought the Avy in Florida while on vacation.  Drove it back north to Wisconsin.  Ended up going a little west and through the bottom of Minnesota because our car was at the airport in Minneapolis/St. Paul. (The AV purchase was unplanned..intended on flying home).
