Up front an personal with my homemade chrome grill mod.

Hey BNASTY,

your AV looks great. Much better than the 07.

I love the front end. Only not perfect thing imho is the bowtie. With a black cross bar, you should use another colour for the bowtie. How about silver?

Schelbi.

I agree with you about the completely blacked out Powerbar and Bowtie.  It is difficult to see but the Bowtie is Carbon Fiber.  ( Its not exactly black.   In person looks dark gray and has a good contrast without Screaming at you )

Here is a pic that shows that the Bowtie is not completely black.  It was also a picture on my 1st attempt with the chrome trim.  The 3/8 trim was replaced with 5/8 almost double the width.

love that grille mod BNASTY! Cool!

Thanks Wildfire,

Easy, Cheap, looks good, ( enough about me....LOL )

Seriously, this is very inexpensive and extremely easy to do mod.  ( If you have a bug shield that is. -  the lip of the hood is not large enough to stick anything to.  the bug shield has a nice, flat area for the top piece of trim )

Chrome fender trim found at most parts stores.  ( under $20 )  several sizes and a couple color choices also.

Hey BNASTY,

You're right. The closeup view looks better.  And I think seeing it in person will  be even better than this picture.

Really nice!!!

Schelbi.

BTW: Two questions about the bug shield. Does it just change the look or do you really feel a difference (bugs, mileage or something else)?
And does it downgrade the view to the street ahead of your AV?

I can answer this for you. i have had a bug shield on my Av for the past 3 years. It does collect a fair amount of bugs. However i still do get hit by them and rocks. It does not effect the view to the front. As for gas mileage, i could not tell you since i have never driven my Av with out the bug shield.

Hope this helps...

Hey every one, see on the bottom of the page where it says pages 1-65.......
After the 65 should be the option called "ALL", why is that missing?

I love putting my page on "ALL"  and just let it scroll through all the Av's.

Maybe one of the moderators can look into this for us....... chevy

I'm no admin, but I can only imagine due to the length of the this thread and the amount of pics loading everything at once would either 1) take up the better half of a day or 2)melt the server

Wow both from Kuwait, you guys know each other?

Lion_eyeZ, just my opinion but you should take off the bug deflector, it hides that awesome hood, and think about painting your sunroof wind deflector red to match the window vent shades.

Lion_eyez,

What brand of  hood is that anyway?

Are the scoops functional?

Steel or fiberglass?

Thanks,
