Great Drive Near Telluride.

Just returned from Telluride and took a really great side road that has some of the best Colorado scenery I've seen. It's called "Last Dollar Road". Leaving from Telluride take the road that goes up to the airport and just follow the sign to Last Dollar Road. It is a mostly unmaintained county road. The veiws of Wilson Peak and the mountains surrounding Telluride are incredible. The road goes from Telluride to Colorado 62 right above the Double RL Ranch.....AKA Ralph Lauren's Ranch. Gotta be some of the most incredible land scape in the lower 48! So if any of you all are down that way, I would definatley recommend the drive. It is a fairly easy road with only a couple of sections (short sections) that require a high clearance vehicle. Happy 4th Everyone!

We'll be going on our annual wine curse in a week or two and that is one area we really enjoy. Thanks for the tip. We will stay in Telluride for a night. Last year we stayed at the hotel on the corner on Main St. really a neat old refurbished hotel.
