alright gang this is my first post and im gonna make it count, i gots a 2002 black chevy avalanche(1500)4x4. Im a perfomance freak so im gonna add hella stuff to the engine to get more HP. need some advice from the gear heads if you think its a bad move or good, heres the list from stylinconcepts.com.

1. JET - Performance Chip - Stage 1. will this mess up my stock computer, i dont want to buy this and have cause 1k+ damage to engine.

2. Flex-A-Lite - Dual Electric Engine Cooling Fan, this thing looks awful small for this car. if i do get this, i will have a hella of a time getting it on. http://www.stylinconcepts.com/part.cfm?PartID=26744&PartFamilyID=964&SubCategoryID=333&CategoryID=28
3. Volant - Air Intake Kit w/ Box, this thing shoots air into the engine which is good, and provides a good air filter. heres link http://www.stylinconcepts.com/parts.cfm/partfamilyid/1080/CategoryID/28/SubCategoryID/333
but this one seems to be better but i dont know bout it
K&N - K&N FIPK Generation II Kit- http://www.stylinconcepts.com/parts.cfm/partfamilyid/137/CategoryID/28/SubCategoryID/333

this is just a start im working from the inside out, i need some opinions on thsese mods, will it mess up motor?easy to install( with some help of course), is there something better. as stated above the last thing i want is for a 1000+ dollar repair, hopefully i posted in the right spot. :)

forgot to add, is there a repair manual of some sort someone can direct me to. looking for a cut-away version of some sort, or x-ray type thing this will help on installing these things

Try this list, if it were my cash;

Diablo Predator programmer

flex a lite 282 fans

Pro-cold intake

Just do a search here for them. You should be able to find enough pictures posted here also to build an Avalanche from scratch using a tree and a racket ball.

Also if you find an AV manual with x-ray diagrams sell it on e-bay and make a million. Just kidding. I prefer grabbing a Cat and slamming it on the hood and rubbing it around. >:D

cat-scan LOL

If it were me, I'd have to go with the Pro Dyno Pro Cold Intake, and then a Hypertech or Predator Programmer. (Don't know anything about the jet performance modules)

And something that has proven Invaluable to me as I've worked on the truck. The Factory Service Manuals.

http://www.helminc.com They're not xray diagrams but they get the job done. (Especially when it comes to playing around in the underhood fuse box)

Do a Search on the Above Info as there are tons of Info on Both.
