'08 radio speakers

I have a 2008 LT w/135,000 mi. Bucket seats, w/console. Std stereo system, not Bose. Speakers work only intermittently; for the past couple of weeks I have been reduced to listening to radio only through the windshield pillar mounted tweeters. Every once in a while, the passenger side door speaker will work for a short while. Rarely will the drivers side door speaker work. Any ideas?? HELP!!!!

Check the connections both at the back of the radio and the speakers. Look for green foo at the terminals. If so clean them, if not test your end to end continuity, if that's good you speakers might need replacing. Luckily you already have it apart to do so.
