I looked through the topics, but some links no longer work. I am looking for the Navigation Manual for my 2013 LTZ Black Diamond Av. Any help you can provide would be helpful!!

Where is a link to the 2011 version. My understanding is in 2012 there were changes.  :E:

Chevrolet owner center, I believe the 2010 and 2011 were the same. If you don't see it under Avalanche look under Suburban.

Been there, done that, nothing listed under Silverado, Avalanche, Suburban or Tahoe.

It was correct under the 2500 series. Chevy website is going to Chit

Cancel your order - you can get them legit on eBay for $119 and there is a link in another thread here from another source for $49.

I got mine through eBay for $119.

Are you sure it's the 2016 version with the upgrades to the Nav system.

My understanding is that 2012 and 2013 systems are different... it took TWO HOURS to update my system!

Yes they are different, if you buy the cheapie it's only the maps update not the firmware(OS) on the Nav.

Heck you can go to torrent download for maps it's free

9.xc - yup (x is either 0 or 3 - can't remember). It is the same part number. It also has the highway updates that happened in the Seattle area less than 6 month ago, ramps moved on I-405, new left exits, etc. etc. Things that didn't exist in 2011.

The version on my disc is 9.xc (can't remember but believe it is 0, don't care to pry the disc out to confirm). All I know is I plugged it in, and the system whirred away for a while and after having to select my preferred zone things work.

I called the GM site about any potential software update and was told that would be done through my dealer, if one was available, so I got the disc at the lower price point.

I'm not trying to argue with you at all -- just stating I paid $119 for my disc, it isn't pirated, and it works/worked. Because I did it the moment I took delivery of my Avalanche, I have no experience at all with the 7.0c disc that was included, so I have no idea if there is new functionality or not - beyond the update.
