VIN Search

If this has already been covered, I apologize in advance. Plus I wasn't sure where to put it, so I gambled.

Anyways, does Chevy have a site where you can plug in your VIN to see what it came with factory wise? I thought it would be wise to know a little bit more about my truck.

Every individual truck is different and you may be able to get that information at the dealer but not sure that there are any sites that list them by your vin. Your vin will generally only tell the make, model, year,  maybe the trim level and maybe the engine.

Check out the build sheet in your glove box for the codes specific to your truck. If you WERE to look up a database it is likely it would only display the same letter codes that you have on your glove box build sheet.

(It is in the glove box on my 2003 and has been in every truck I have looked at.)
