I'm looking at getting this tuner,
http://www.carid.com/2004-chevy-avalanche-performance-chips/sct-performance-itsx-for-android-wireless-programmer-15803450.html
It connects to your apple devices wirelessly after you plug it in and can do all of the tuning and so on.  I hope to mount my iPad mini in the dash so I can do all the fly tuning for example keep it gas effient but if a ridgeline pulls up flip the switch if ya know what I mean ;) anyway I want to be able to program it for my cold air intake along with bigger tires if want to make sure this one will do all of that and so on because well description on it isn't the best.

It looks interesting let us know how you like it.  You may want to look at the manufacturer website cause it says it only works with android.

Digging up an old thread...... I'm considering a tune or tuner on my 05 with the 5.3, mostly for more towing torque. But might be nice to play with a little. A guy at the boat shop I work at, who tunes super high performance engines, says that tuners today do as good or better job than many tuning techs. The SCT in particular allows you to save up to 10 different tunes. They have a way of sharing tuned files among users. The app is loaded on a Droid/IPhone device & communicates via Bluetooth ODBII dongle. I already monitor trans temp via the Torque app on my phone connected to an ELM Bluetooth dongle so this would be a lot cooler.

Just wondering if any other members have used the SCT iTSX.....good or bad?

BTW, my 4L60E trans is already upgraded/rebuilt with the Vette servo & extra clutch disc. I have the G10 locker rear diff which seems to be doing great for the moment.
