Looking for any info on replacing them.
2005 Z71.
I know that the motor for the recirculating door is bad which I believe is the harder one to change.
Also, does the 2005 have a A/C filter?

Thanks

Well only 2002s have A/c filters.

Maybe if you tell us what is wrong and do you have Auto HVAC or manual.

1.  The Recirculate motor is not working. (According to GM's software).
2.  The compressor seems (to me, but not the dealer) to cycle too much. Causing a VERY inconsistent temperature out of the vent
3.  On Max cool or auto, it cools great for about 1 to 2  minutes then starts cycling.

On cooler days it works better, but of course the system isn't working as hard!

According to my gauges and the dealers, the system is full, and the dealer says that the compressor and switches are all working properly.

This has been going on for about 1 1/2 years and is driving me nuts.

The dealer wants $371.00 for the actuator motor for the recirculate door. (part only) I can get the GM part for less that 1/2 that.

That's why I'm trying to find where the motor is and do I get to it from behind the radio or do I come up from under the dash.

Thanks
