How hard to change lower Radiator hose

Could I get some info on how hard it is to change lower Radiator hose 2005 Avalanche 2500 8.1

On a scale of 1-10 it's about a 5

Pretty easy Lori.. Basic hand tools are all that's needed, hardest part are the spring clamps that hold the hose on. Pliers will do it but they make a tool just for those type of clamp that makes it easier..


And welcome to the club...
 
Could you tell me the pliers needed. There are a lot of them that won't work.

But you can do it with a standard pair of pliers... It just might get a little frustrating because it usually slips off a few times.

Less than half the price here. probably not the best quality, but you aren't going to be using them everyday
