Hey guys, check out the picture below...

My truck overheated last night and this afternoon I popped the hood to find that. Looks like the in or out for my heater core.

Please tell me that little white piece is a fitting and not something that is going to be a huge deal replacing... I don't know if I can handle another major problem on my truck!

You will also want to replace the clamp with a "worm gear" type clamp. (Standard hose clamp at the store..)

Those original clamps are dependent on tension based on the strength of the steel and how well it was bent. It tends to get weaker over time.

The standard worm gear type clamps are much better.
