Edge update disable AFM

So my avy went into the shop for a $3700 repair on failed lifters due to the AFM. If you have an edge tuner, please download the new update that allows for AFM disabling. It's cost me so much and I've had the truck 1 year and 18k miles. I just started using it for a 120 mile round trip commute and it's such a disappointment. Nice one Chevy engineers. Ya nailed it.

Bummer, sorry to hear that.  What year is your truck and how many miles?

Yeah, the AFM is a really bad idea in my opinion, but other manufacturers have similar systems as well.

It's a 2007, 118k miles. Such a fun vehicle, just need to tune the afm out is all. Heard the lifters knocking a little but didn't suspect this. Pretty rough but if you haven't tuned them out, I would. Not worth the minimal mileage gain!
