Radio Interference key fob

Just wanted to let you know about a problem I had recently. I rented space to store my boat at a storage facility. They gave me a transmitter fob to open the gate. I put it on my key ring for my Avalanche. Started experiencing weird no start / shutting down after start problems. Did a Google search on RFI and passkey systems. Turns out, that key fob was screwing up the vehicle security functions. Just a FYI.
