Cabin air filter for 2008 Avalanche

Is there a cabin air filter on the 2008 avalanche.. Anyone ever replace one .. ??
 
There is one listed at Rock Auto but I thought that your newer rig did not have one. Someone will know for sure.
 
From what I have seen only the 2002 AV and maybe the 2003 may have had a cabin air filter. By 2004 it was not there. I remember threads where some members were able to retrofit the box and filter to 2004+ AVs but I haven't read of anyone trying to retrofit a filter to a second generation AV.
 
No, and I'm good with that. Never felt a need for one in the first place.
