Is there any way to "power up" a loose, uninstalled gauge cluster to be able to check what the odometer mileage?
Thanks
Also the guage cluster is 2003-2005

you can try putting power to B9 and B11, and ground A12 and B12.
Pic is of the plug so it is a mirror image of the cluster side.

Pin    Wire Color    Function
A12    BK              Ground
B9      PK              Ignition 1 Voltage (w/o 8S:cool:

When you do this you may want to do it with a switch as opposed to just hooking up wires hot.

Powering it up hopefully will let you check it.

I would only hook up the grounds and the battery voltage however. You can then tap the trip button on the gauge to check the mileage. If you power the ignition leads you may not get anything on the display but errors because you are not hooked up to a vehicle. But i know when your key is off you can press the trip button and it will display.
