When will Android Auto be available in an aftermarket head unit?

Like the title says, I'm looking to install an aftermarket head unit with Android Auto capability.  Anyone know when a major manufacturer will have units on the street?

I never heard of Android Auto, but that's something I'll look into.

It is something new. Just read something about it. Apparently Apple has hinted at getting involved in automotive field and android jumped all over it. I haven't seen much about it yet, just that it is supposed to be a new variation of Android. (As if Android needed more fragmentation.)

If you do a google search for Android Auto there is some information about it but it looks like it has not been released yet and not as nice as the QNX stuff or even the FE's available now.
