I have the OEM Nav/Stereo system and the only thing it is lacking is bluetooth connectability.

Please someone tell me there is some type of module I can buy to fit the reciever to give me bluetooth.

Any ideas???

??? ??? ??? ???

I have the Bluefusion unit. Works thru the OEM system. Plugs in the SAT receiever behind glove box. Simple install.

Not sure where the disconnect is. My 2010 Z71 without Nav did have BlueStar (Pardon the Typo, BlueTooth!). It had a January 2010 build date.

Check your Owner's Manual for the instructions to Pair.

Simple directions indicate to press and hold the call button, when Ready is announced, say BlueTooth, your next response is Pair, and go from there. It almost walks you through it.

I like your suggestion. I do, however, have XM Radio though and do not want to sacrifice that to get bluetooth. Will Bluefusion work through the AUX option on the radio?

I never use the tv to watch movies so I could sacrifice that.

Thanks again!!

I don't think you loose the XM functions but I'm not sure. It's kinda like a channel on XM.  No XM in Hawaii to test.

The Costar shared by DO is good too, replaces the Onstar module.

Not sure how others work but the COSTAR works by unplugging the OnStar factory module and plugging those wires into the CoStar for hands free Bluetooth calls.
The only downfall to these systems is audio streaming via Bluetooth is in mono (not stereo) as the audio signal (phone call or music) runs thru the OnStar mic and speaker (left front)

I did not know that DouglasOaks thanks for the warning.

I guess I should clarify...

Stereo output via Bluetooth streaming is possible... The Costar unit has a 3.5 mm output jack that can be ran and plugged into a front panel input jack (if equipped on your radio)
This will provide a wireless link from the phone to the Costar, but you still have to plug in to a jack with a wire, Kind of a roundabout way of doing it. But I guess you could keep your device in your pocket and free from being tethered to the radio.

See more info below...

Check out my very cheap interim (and possibly long term) solution...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008AGQMQC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

$17.99, with great reviews..

We'll see how it actually works.

I'll report back with a review once it comes in the mail

I would definitely recommend this bluetooth accessory as a cheap solution that works quite well... If anyone was interested in a review..

I just got a new iphone handsfree iphone radio from Best Buy for $99 by JVC.
Found a radio kit with the harness for $17 on ebay.

The install and removal is the easiest I have ever done. The radio just clips in and out.

The only hang up is I had there is a second smaller harness that plugs into the stock radio. You have to connect the PINK wire from the secondary harness - which is ONSTAR - and connect it the hot wire to your radio.

It's looks really good to me.

I'll give a vote for the blue star. I have it in my car and the parrot mkx9100 in my Avy. I find the blue star has far superior sound quality, but the music streaming of the parrot is better.

Blue star is cheaper as it only has one module. Parrot requires the lockpick or an equivalent.

The Amazon bluetooth accessory I got will work for you if you have a AUX headphone jack. That is how mine works.. not sure if your 02 has that or not.. If you're asking about bluestar I don't have an answer for you..

I'm getting it. Does the accessory handle phone calls too.  I'm thinking it doesn't.  I think it accepts transmission but doesn't send one.
