2006 Avalanche LT - Aftermarket HU no sound?

OK so I am new here as of today! I have owned my Avy for 3 months. I practically stole it lol but anyway I have a wiring issue.. I bought an aftermarket radio and it works just no audio? It has 2 clips coming from the back of the factory head unit. So I'm pretty sure I have to use both?  I can post pics if needed.
 
Are you using some type of adapter and do you have the Bose speakers. Also which headunit are you putting in.
 
Yes, I bought the adapter that says is for my 06 avy.. Yes I do have the Bose stereo and the Bose amp is in the center console? I bought a JVC radio brand new.
 
You have to love newbies, but we were all there once..

OK we need the models numbers of both units so we can look up the wiring diagrams
 
Good for you sir, but the stock amp has no remote turn on power up only the Cadillac with the Y91 has that.
