Corvettes swallowed by Sinkhole

Firefighters said the hole is estimated at 40 feet wide and 25-30 feet deep.

The eight vehicles affected by the incident were:

    1993 ZR-1 Spyder on loan from General Motors
    2009 ZR1 ?Blue Devil? on loan from General Motors
    1962 Black Corvette owned by the museum
    1984 PPG Pace Car owned by the museum
    1992 White 1 Millionth Corvette owned by the museum
    1993 Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Corvette owned by the museum
    2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 Corvette owned by the museum
    2009 White 1.5 Millionth Corvette owned by the museum

:laugh: i showed my mom this pic.. she said she would pull the 62 out herself and take it off their hands

me? I would love a corvette no matter what year... i would climb down there and hook one up and drag it out  >:D
 
That stinks.  I have dreamed of owning a 'Vette since I was in grade school in the '70s. 
 
They will have to be really careful getting the rest of them out looks like there is very little holding up the floor.

As sad as it is for the cars I'm finding this story waaaaaay funnier than I should or than it truly is  :laugh:

Also holy hell are sinkholes terrifying...it's like at literally any moment the floor could open up below you apocalypse style

Good news they got the rest of the Corvettes out of the SkyDome. (y)
