Silverado Tow Mirrors on my AV

Im looking to put the silverado hd tow mirrors on my 1500. just wondering if anyone here has done it and has some advice as to what ones bolt up or if any modifications are necessary. thanks guys.

Should be plug and play as long as the years match. You'll need to disable curb view if you have it. Some aftermarket a don't play well with the memory function. I just installed a pair on my 06- heated, power and signal.

I put that style on my AVY.  Easy swap.

I also did this on my 2009.
Simple steps man

Pop off bolt covers in the door panel
Remove lock if in 07+ because it restricts the panel lifting up
Pop off the trim triangle where the mirror bolts through.
Unbolt door panel
gently maneuver a putty knife or something similar behind the door panel and start popping the clips out of the bottom of the panel
hold onto the door and lift the panel up
while holding it reach between the panel and door itself and disconnect the wiring harnesses.
set door panel down in safe spot
Unbolt mirror from inside while holding the outside
pull mirror away and maneuver the harness through the hole

slip the mirror harness through the hole and bolt them on
pick up door panel and reconnect all harnesses
make sure all functions work- locking mechanism, window, etc
lift panel above the final place and angle so it slide into where the seals line up and it seats right
pop the bottom of the panel and sides into the clips
bolt the panel back on
snap all trim covers back on
