aftermarket head unit with factory speakers?

Has anybody swapped a head unit and left the oem speakers intact. Looking for a bit better sound and possibly a headunit with bluetooth.

I put a Pioneer AVIC-Z3 Navigation with Blue Tooth and back up camera in mine using the stock speakers. I ran it that way until I collected all the pieces to upgrade everything with aftermarket amps, speakers, wiring, sound deadening etc.

The stock speakers sounded better with the Pioneer head unit but not as good as with the aftermarket speakers and amps.

Thanks Randy, I still have not decided whether or not i am going ahead with it or not as I really don't drive the truck other than to go to work and back which is a 5 minute drive.
