Sorry all but I went through the bluetooth files and could not find an update...is there anything newer that I can incorporate into my 08 LTZ? I do not want to lose the factory look AT ALL....any help much appreciated

Try this one. http://chevyavalanchefanclub.com/cafcna/index.php/topic,137781.msg2010549.html#msg2010549.
Here's the unit I went with in my 08.  http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/DVD-Receivers/AVH-X5500BHS
I love this thing.  It syncs up with my iPhone within 5 seconds and streams itunes radion, pandora, or my music on my phone.  It also has a direct Pandora sync.  I have an $80 Garmin with free lifetime street updates so I didn't need a unit with nav built in.  My unit cost about $350 and I bought it on ebay.  Good luck to you on whatever you choose.

if you want to keep it all stock and retain you factory look, try the Blue Fusion bluetooth. here's a link of the operation and install. Works off the XM radio.

Thanks guys...and sorry nuguy, I need to keep my clean looking factory nav...so yes Hawaiian, that I like...I am going to go with that I believe...I also saw a couple of others almost the same....seems fairly easy to install.

One question....will my XM radio still function normally? I only use XM....I have always had a subscription...it seems it would but with the use of the XM signal, will it interfere?

I don't have xm here but 95% sure it will work. It is a t harness only that goes inbetween existing plug and xm unit. It should worj fine and then switch to phone for incoming or outgoing calls and the go back to xm after. Try the scocshe ( spell check that) blue fusion web site for more info.
