2004 Avalanche with no center console, no Bose system. Where in the F##k is the amplifier.? I was told its in the dash but unable to locate it. Want to put after market stereo in and use factory wiring but right now rear speakers don't work. Checked fuses all are good. Any suggestions
 
in my 02 it was located behind the glovebox
 
I heard it might be behind the glovebox. There  is a silver box that looks like it might be it, but how the hell do yo get it out? Or would it be easier to bypass it when I put a new radio in. My back speakers don't work and everything leads to amp problem. Any suggestions?? :help:
 
The box is probably the XM.

No Bose no external amp on the 03 up
