The 2012 COPO's had a better motor selection than the 2013 lineup (a new 325 hp 350, a new 375 hp 396, and the 425 hp 427 returns)
no superchargers offered for 2013.  (n)
2012's only came with the Powerglide, while those who think they're quicker with a stick, can option out a 4 spd, in 2013.

With only 69 COPO Camaro's offered this year, if you haven't already entered to be in a random draw for the 69 available, then you won't be gettin' one.
Not sure how many folks would be up for paying a minimum of $86,000 for a car that is so far from street legal, it doesn't even have a VIN number, although I know I won't be one of them. But we can always dream (and what a sweet dream it is!!!)

It runs mid 9 seconds quarter miles out of the box.   :drive: :drive:.

Check out the pic and you'll see that the entire car is actually a part number from GM performance parts!!!!

Yes sir they come with serial numbers, but no vin. Off road use only.

Vin numbers have been changed in the past  >:D... Just saying
That's what I'm thinking too.... it would be a crime to have this car and not be able to give out some spankings on the street once in a while lol.  :drive:

Sweet you have a choice of engines and can watch it being built.
If not mistaken it is built by one engineer and his team like the Corvette?s ZR1.

I was at the Woodward Dream Cruise today and saw the ultimate COPO Camaro.

Nice looks like a road trip coming up

Chevy had the new Camaro out at Belle Isle today and invited the Camaro Club for the debut.

It will mark the first time that both Camaro and its arch-rival, the Ford Mustang, are produced in Michigan.

Odd trivia that in fifty years either one or the other wasn't Made-In-Michigan

May I have your attention INTRODUCING the 2017 Camaro ZL1 640 horsepower and a 10 speed tranny.

Now to go Hellcat hunting  (y)

Hmm, I wonder how that compares to the Cadillac CTS-V...

Which comes with a Supercharged 6.2 and is over 600 hp as well. Think they are both built on the same chasis, just different sheet metal?

I also wonder what the starting price is for them... The CTS-V 2016 starts at like $83,000...

But values must drop fast. I saw a 2014 CTS-V for sale for $49,000 for an upscale version with 14,000 miles on it. Probably half the original price tag on a 2 year old car with low mileage.

No clue about your CTS Rodney

Sweet.  I'll stick with the six speed though.  I'm willing to sacrifice a few tenths for the visceral experience only three pedals and a lever can deliver.  >:D  :drive:

Can you imagine a 10 speed automatic that thing will be shifting all the time. I like the third pedal also.  (y)

Yeah, seems like it would be forever searching for the correct gear.  While technology can be great, I am losing faith in it in cars.  Seems like most of the issues with my wife's ride are because the blasted computer can't get it right.  Of course, the computer doesn't know it's screwing up so it throws no codes.

There's a certain beauty in keeping it simple. One of my favorite sayings is:
Making the simple complicated is commonplace.  Making the complicated simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.

The Camaro is several hundred pounds lighter, starting price is expected to be 60-70k range.

Same platform as CTS-V, it's more than just sheet metal. Same engine and chassis but the suspensions and drive trains have some significant differences.  I think they are sister and brother, the CTS-V is the Camoro's classy big sister.

The Camaro also has a LT4 versus the CTS-V LSA motor.

Apples and Oranges

And now the 2018 ZL1 Camaro badder and faster

For 68,000 bucks, that car can run 198 mph. Now think a Corvette Z06 at 91,000 plus.  :dunno:
