Diablosport inTune

The inTune is currently one of the best tuners for the GM LS engines and transmissions
,
but if you just want to turn off AFM  and don't wanna increase performance
or change the factory "slushbox" into a tight shifting tranny, there are other options.

Hey: I know for a fact this makes DouglasOak tires chirp when he kicks is down? but I never had a chance to ask him if this helps his gas mileage overall?

I actually have an EDGE CS tuner, but it does make a big difference with firmer shifts and more power in the upper range.

As for mileage I didn't see much of an increase in economy mode, maybe 1 mpg. But when I have had to set it back to stock for dealer visits I really notice the difference.

Unfortunately mine does not disable AFM, and would love to upgrade to the InTune in the future.

the intune is nice but sooo expensive. i have a speed shop that will do it for me for 200 but i kinda like the idea of having a tuner myself

Another member tipped me off about this device, recently.  Haven't heard much from the rest of the club, though.

Any thoughts?

Nick

Good concept. The rhetoric puts me off. Nice if it works, without screwing anything else up. I'd still go with Diablosport's stuff, though.

Noticed the inTune reviews have been kind of sketchy.

I'm usually a pretty decisive individual.  Amazing that I'm still on the fence with these tuning choices.

A necessary caveat to my DS endorsement is they would be my first choice of handhelds. I, personally, don't do handhelds.

I bought a tuner last month simply to turn off the V4/V8 fuel management system. I wanted the cheapest route:
