The PCM has programmed shift times, as well as "starting" shift pressures. Shift trims are "learned" such that the PCM tries to hit the programmed shift times. Without changing the programmed shift times, the PCM will try to undo the effects of the bigger servos. You will probably gain some life for the band, but probably not much, and it isn't usually the first thing to go in these transmissions anyway.
