O2 Sensor Simulators - Electronic

My catalytic converters destroyed themselves and straight-pipes were welded in place.  I tried the sparkplug foulers inline with the secondary O2 sensors, but under heavy throttle (like merging onto a freeway or towing) the CEL comes on everytime.  I ordered an electronic (non-PNP) O2 Sensor simulator off eBay and am wondering if anyone's had any (hopefully positive) experience with them.  I have not gotten a chance to install them.  Or, does anyone else have any other 100% solutions  Thanks, Gang.
