Too late. I have to be back in Bucks Co. by 10 am to load up the truck. I thought I could have breakfast and get back it time but it is not as close as I thought, a little over an hour away.

Yes, we will be there. I'm guessing it will be a small crowd since it's such short notice. Hope to get a larger GTG next month.

Sorry but, we'll have to miss this one.
We've got some things that have to be done this weekend.
I hope to see everybody soon, it's been too long.

I only have about 38 hours worth of driving....what's 3 hours in the opposite direction gonna hurt.

Well, technically it was a GTG - 2 AV's, 6 people. I wasn't expecting a large turnout this time, with the short notice. Hopefully next month will turn out better! Hope to see some new faces and returning faces as well!

Hey: Food was great as usual and glad to see this thing going again. We missed it.

I was thinking... (well, actually, my wife was doing the thinking. I was agreeing with her as always...) For the October GTG, what if we headed over to Great Adventure after Mastori's for the Fright Fest? It will be going on all day, so it should be fun. (and even more fun for those of us with train horns!)
I'll post another thread about it if anyone here is interested.

yeah, my daughter was paying me back for scaring her when we were walking out of Mastori's... I didn't know she was right next to them when I set them off remotely! But she got US ALL back later!

Butch and I are coming to NJ so we are planning on being there for the breakfast. They are having a big event at Englishtown so we are coming down for that. I believe JJsnowking is coming down too but I don't know what his timing is. So if you don't have the fright night event if anyone wants to join us at the track it should be a fun day of racing.

Bad news...
Unless it rains really hard on the 16th at night, we won't be able to make it on the 17th... kids have soccer games early Saturday morning. We should still be able to make the Fright Fest, but may be a little late, around 2pm or so.

I don't mind taking the kids to their soccer games myself and meeting up with everyone afterwards at Fright Fest.
This way TM won't have miss out on Mastori's.....leaving the option out there for you TM

This way TM won't have miss out on Mastori's.....leaving the option out there for you TM
I guess as long as I don't fall asleep and forget to call, I should be OK...

So, it's almost here! Wayne and I will be there.
I hope we can stay somewhat dry.
They're calling for 45F and 80% chance of rain.
We can always spend most of the time inside.
On a different note. Last month there was a Camaro in attendance.
Any objections to having a Mercedes show up this month?
(The one we bought with a blown head gasket and swapped the engine.)

Sorry everyone, I couldn't make it for this one. My daughter got sick last night and I didn't want to be away today. They cancelled the race due to the weather, but we were still going to take the ride anyway till this happened.

Eric, thanks for going out of your way to bring out the coolers. Two of them will fit just right with the chairs and luggage in the car's trunk. Don't worry, the third will get used too, just not on this trip.
It sure was a sight seeing your AV filled with those tires. Should have gotten a picture of that.
Garry, it was great talking to you as always. I hope everyone at home is feeling better, including you.
Hopefully it will be dryer and not any colder next month.
For all you that missed this GTG, you missed a first. For the first time ever, I didn't finish my breakfast. I took about half of it home.

Two!
Now that would have been a short post.
We need to stop at the recycling center to drop off some old tires on the way in but, they open early enough that we should be there on time.
With IE here at work, the avatars look normal to me too.

The Monster Garage Holiday party is official! Check the first post here for the link to it!
I'll be collecting toys for Trannyman's GTG for those who can attend Mastori's but can't get to the MG.

Time for an official headcount for this Saturday! All attending Mastori's - post up! If you plan on going up to the Monster Garage also, post in that thread!
If you can't make Monster Garage, please bring a toy to Mastori's and I will be taking it up to the MG to collect for Trannyman's collection (to donate!)
Thanks!

Sorry we couldn't make it this time. We had a very busy weekend.
The biggest thing was a volunteer work day at the campground. Lots of storm damage with trees and branches down all over the park. It was surprising that nothing hit any of the trailers.
Not sure about next month yet either.

I actually mentioned that you guys were probably at the campground working. I'm glad to hear there wasn't any serious damage. I know personally what a pain it is when a tree hits a trailer

Yup, that's where we were. My back is still,,,, out.
Hurt it trimming limbs off the first tree we cut down. After another 5 hours I was hurting pretty bad.
Going for breakfast would have been sooo much more fun (and less painful).

Nice try Gary.
Too much going on this time of year and not enough time to do it or money to pay some one else to do it for us.
This weekend we'll be down at the campground helping setup for the season. If you want to help dig a trench through a field we could rearrange our schedule. Thing is, the field still needs to dry out some. How about help shingle the roof?
(I'm joking about the trench, we have to rent a small excavator to do that job.)

We'll be there.
If you want, you can look at the access panel I now have to get to my fuel pump.
Finally replaced my fuel level sender (and the fuel pump while I had it out).
It's great having a working fuel gauge, especially while towing.

We won't be there this month, July. Leaving for a two week vacation with the Niagara camping GTG in the middle.
Aug., as far as I know right now, we should make it.
Sept., probably not. There's a yearly thing we go to that usually falls on the third weekend in Sept.

Never do have much "free" time around the holidays. This year has been more jammed up then normal.

My son and I will be there. It's his birthday, so everyone has to bring him a gift... (just kidding!)
We'll have to leave no later than 11:30 though, as he has karate at noon. He gets to wear a special black belt with a white stripe since it's his b-day...

A FIRST HAS HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!
Seems today's Mastori's GTG was attended by the TM clan, and the TM clan only! We're usually the ones that don't show up, and the one time we do, we don't have anyone to share it with!
Well, there's always next month! See ya there!

Sorry you made the trip without anyone else showing up. We were working on my father's scooter. It doesn't bend in the middle so much now.
At the end of the month Wayne's schedule is changing. Don't know what his days off will be after that. So it might be just me for a while.

Wayne has to work, not sure what his hours for saturday are yet. I know he's there for closing tonight.
He might be sleeping while we're there.

Kind of quiet here.
Anybody even thinking of going?
If not, I have other things I could do.
Tonight for instance, could be extended if I didn't have anywhere to be Saturday morning.

OK, I think I can make it for next week. If I can't for some reason, I'll post it.
Won't know about Wayne's schedule until early next week.

It was nice talking to you again Maverick.
Glad Wayne could make it too.
With the holidays coming, I don't know if any of us can set aside half a day in Nov. or Dec.
I know trying to go shopping around here after the Dec. breakfast GTG is not an easy thing to do. Last time I tried that, it took me over half an hour just to get far enough into a store parking lot to turn around and get out.

3rd Saturday for Nov and Dec are both the weekend before the holidays, so it would be easier to do the GTG then, rather than the week of, but still difficult. I'll see if I can think of anything we could do as a GTG instead of Mastori's between now and the next scheduled Mastori's GTG, but I welcome any ideas that anyone may have. If there's enough snow on the ground, we may be able to do a tubing GTG or something. My town has a hill that can be used as a miniature ski slope, and as far as I know it's FREE.
Only "issue" is that it's right next to the police station, so strobes and train horns may be a problem if "used", but I have a couple friends who are cops, so maybe I can talk with them about that... lol

We can't make it this week either.
Got to head to the campground and help with the cleanup from the winter.
There was a bunch of stuff stolen and vandalized during the off season this year.

Thanks for the well wishes.
The doctor calls it acute sciatica. I don't think there's anything cute about it.
He's talking herniated disk and stuff like that. Right now I'm waiting for the radiology place to call back so I can make the appointment for an MRI. I start physical therapy on Monday. At least I can sit reasonably comfortably now.

My dad had that about 10-15 years ago... really painful... He figured out (or at least thinks...) that it was due to all those years of having his wallet in his back pocket. Needless to say, he hasn't done that is several years. And it's been about a year since I've done it.

Yeah I know about the fat wallet deal. I think it's been over 25 years since I started keeping my wallet in my front pocket.
Thanks for bringing it up though. I'd rather have people share things I may already know then not tell me things I don't know. Know what I mean?
The pain has gotten a bit better over the last two days. Well, at least while the drugs are working. Forget about it for the last 1/2-1 hour before it's time for the next dose.

Well, it's that time again and guess what. I can't make it this month either.
My back is doing great!!! Physical therapy is the only thing that I've done, since I stopped taking the pain pills. Left leg is a little week but getting better every day. I will need to do my stretching and exercises twice a day from now on but, with how good I feel, I'll take it.
I'll be busy tomorrow until at least noon. After that I'll need a shower. If anyone wants to try later in the day/evening I could make it then. Mastori's gets a bit crowded in the evenings but there's quite a few places to eat in the Hamilton market place, about 5-6 miles north on rt 130 from Mastori's.
Let's see,,,,
Chili's
Longhorn Steakhouse
Red Robbin
Panera Bread,
Chic Fil a
McDonald's
Ruby Tuesdays
China Grill buffet
Crackerbarrel
And on the other side of rt 130
T.G.I. Friday's
Wendy's
Outback Steakhouse

I've been jonesing for Red Robin the past couple days... I probably won't be able to make it in the morning either, but a mid-afternoon/evening GTG at Red Robin sounds good!
Or even Friday's...

Well, I just got home. That took longer than expected but, we got a lot done.
I think I'm done for that day after I get the AV unloaded. Maybe sooner.
My back held up fine. It's all the muscles I haven't used this much since I herniated that darn disk. That or I'm getting old, maybe both.
