  I will take some better pictures tomarrow in daytime.. all i have left to put on is the hood...  More mods for conversion to come...

My smooth kit from SLP is backordered.. should be shipped 5/21 they said

anyone can buy one.... modding your Av is gonna be better.  like the guy I stopped to talk to about his 67/68/69/71/95 GMC/Chevy/Silverado told me... "I didnt buy it, I built it."

ok im getting there.. seems like im never going to finish.. i wish i would have got my smooth kit in!!! I went and looked at the hood today and started to wet sand.. but the cheap china hood aint gonna cut it.. so im ordering oem!! so i quit wasting my time and therefore the hood looks like sh*t :) but you get the idea..  posted the link for the fullsize also

That second picture makes it look like the front driver quarter panel has a big nasty dent in it from the reflection.  :eek:
 
Looking good sir, was this a kit or just a escalade front end.
 
Question.......When you go license tags or pay insurance, do you have to change it over to an Escalade? ???  Or since the heart and soul is an Avalanche does it stay the same.  I remember seeing an episode of COPs where a guy got pulled over because the plate didn't match the car.  His car was registered as a red Mustang I believe and he had it painted white.  Had to get out of the car at gunpoint and handcuffed.
