Looks like you are in the military up there in gods country. Congrats if so!!!! Well how does it do? With that kinda of lift did you lose any of your ride quality? And if you are in the military have you taken it down any of the tank trails? I've just purchased my first AV 2003 model with the Z-71 pkg on it. Been considering a "leveling" pkg with 18" rims running 305/70 M/T tire with a aggressive mud tread. Your Av looks totally killer congrats.

yes i'm in the coast guard, just got stationed up here.  surprisingly the ride is still nice and smooth with that lift and those super swampers.  my gas mileage pretty much sucks, but i don't really care about that.  i haven't taken my AV offroad yet.  I've been dying to, but i'm new in Michigan so I don't know of any trails yet.  hopefully i'll get her dirty soon.

I love it! The 07 do look great lifted and bet you do not encounter the whole rubbing and trimming hunks of your bumper like the 02-06 cladded AVs do. I had to trim and still have to trim more. Looks great. Also did I see a FL Tag? Looks like someone is avoided a vehicle ad valorem tax in their home state.

looks good ....

you might also consider adding fender flares ....

and for off-roading try Silver Lake Sand Dunes .... I've gone for 3 years now and I met up with a few Michigan members .... we are already talking about going back next year for the Fireworks .... probably will be around July 2-3rd area and stay for the w/e ....

yeah i've been wanting to head up to silver lake.  is that place completely sand or is there any mud?  maybe i might consider heading up there next summer.  Can you guys tell me when or where they have the big avalanche meets or get-togethers around the Michigan area?  I've only been up here for one month.  thanks for all the compliments on my avalanche guys.  the only problem i'm having with it is a little rubbing on the right front, rear side of the fender which only happens when i take sharp right turns in reverse or when i drive up onto a driveway or something elevated.  I would like to see more pics of all of your rides.

Love your AV.

Where did you get the lift put on?  Or did you do it yourself?  Just wondering.  I'm over in Clinton Township and looking to do the same kinda thing.

Oh, and when you put the 35s on, did you re-gear your axles?  If so, where did you have that done and what gears did you put in?

i had the lift done in Tampa, FL before i moved up to MI.  didnt have the tools to do it myself.  i did not have to re-gear.  if you are to go greater than 6 inches of lift i believe you would have to change some things out.  i had Vector Motorsports reprogram my ecu to make up for the tire size and for the speedometer and the transmission's shifting.  lets see some pics when you get yours done!

Congrats! Beautiful truck  :B:
I'm also in the Coast Guard...Grew up in Michigan, and was stationed their for awhile too.
Silver Lake is all sand...with a few deep water holes near the shore line. No mud really.
I haven't been there in a few years so it may have changed a little.
They had a portion of the dunes set up for sand drags so if you go on a busy weekend make sure to check it out!
